Over the last six years, I have enjoyed the luxury of an extremely skilled scribe to document visits of my orthopedic surgery patients. Tarannum Kushnude documents my patient discussions and complaints, and physician exam evaluations, documenting my subjective, objective assessment and plan for their future care. I can’t imagine not having her in the room with me virtually during the office visit. She allows me to focus on talking to the patient focusing on their conditions, surgical intervention plans and treatment options. Tarannum allows me to focus on my patients condition, physical examination and discuss treatment options. I never have to look away from the patient to document the office visit. At the end of the clinic, all I need to do is review and sign off on my notes.
